Permanent Vacation

In an exploration of time and memory, Project 17 took shape as a way to revisit balance and motion, breathing life into their purpose both for our in - ternal and external worlds. This dichotomy of chaos and order invites a shift in energy, a recalibration, a return to home, a return to the self.

The incorporation of striped fabrics and contrast ribbed knitwear weaves through continued notions of movement and fluidity, while a colour palette of subdued brown tones, vivid cobalt blue, varying greens and digital lavender paints a surreal depic - tion of nature: as grounding as it is experimental. Intended to capture a sense of realignment, the collection is realised from a place of deep obser - vation and deliberation.

Designed and made in Melbourne, Australia, Permanent Vacation’s seventeenth collection has been created with care and consideration for both the current climate and the environment at large.
